I was the delivery gal today for 110 bras that are going to be recycled with @thebrarecyclers and 230 bras that were donated to The Community Closet thanks to our August bra drive.

Lois and Sandy at the Community Closet were so happy to get the boxes. Their bra bins were looking sparse (as you’ll see in the pictures), and you helped replenish their supply. The Community Closet truly helps some of the most in-need people in our community; it’s entirely volunteer run and they accept no money for the items taken from the closet. The Community Closet has a volunteer who is in charge of the bras, and she sorts them by size and puts easy-to-read tags on them. Sandy said the volunteer was so excited to be getting the delivery from us!

And once again, thank you to everyone who donated! While the bra drive is over you can always drop off bras to donate or recycle. We will take care of the rest! (And thanks to Jeff at the Packaging Store on Ingersoll for taking this goofy photo of me and for always getting your packages where they need to go!)
